As part of our dress code policy, we will be issuing a school t-shirt each semester for all students.

Welcome back to the second quarter of the 2022-2023 school year. All students are expected to come to school on Monday, October 10th at the normal time.

This is a quick reminder that there is no school on Monday, September 5th in observance of the Labor Day holiday. We will return to our normal school schedule on Tuesday, September 6th Have a wonderful weekend!

There are new additions to the uniform options for students. See the flyer posted with this announcement.

August 15 - 19

We are excited to open our school doors on Thursday, July 21st  and embrace the 2022-2023 school year!

Each year, the SC State Dept. of Education asks for feedback on the climate of each school in the state. It is that time of year and we need feedback from all of our parents! Only one survey per family should be completed per student.

Let the district know your opinions and suggestions for the dress code.

We want to remind everyone that we will be holding our district registration day tomorrow, Tuesday, July 12th from 9 am to 5 pm in the middle school gym. You will have the opportunity to complete all necessary paperwork for the upcoming school year, and you may also pick up your student’s schedule at this time. We ask that all McCormick High School students wear a Chieftain shirt to the registration day, as student IDs photos will be taken tomorrow. All students must be registered before the first day of school, which is Thursday, July 21st.

We also want to remind everyone that we have made a few changes to our uniform dress code policy. You can find a complete list of these changes on our district website.

The South Carolina Office of Regulatory Staff (ORS) is creating maps of our state indicating which areas are in most need of high-speed internet.
